I'm sorry for the delayed posting, but it took me a while to conquer the internet :)
We arrived safely in la Republica Dominicana last night! Our flight was of course a little late, but we and all of our bags arrived.
We spent the day at the hospital. We planned for our week a little bit, toured the hospital, and helped clean up some.
We are off to dinner now and will post more later (but it might be a Dominican later).

OK.... I left a comment this morning and went back to see if there was another post and..... I comment was not there! I certainly do not want you all to think that we are not thinking about you and praying for you! I know that God has many things for you to do and people to serve. Keep those eyes of yours WIDE open to see what God is doing.... then JOIN HIM! He wants to use you... you have a great opportunity to impact people that need Jesus!

Thanks for the update, Kara. So glad you arrived safely. Praying you will all stay healthy so you are able to share Jesus with all who will hear. Remember -- it's not just the words that count, but also what the people of the DR see in each of you.
